Unpacking - New Neighborhood

We moved over Memorial Day Weekend.  Life is one big box for the immediate future.  This is our first short move - just 10 miles!  I think interstate moves are much more efficient.

Here are some views of our new neighborhood.  Can't wait to finish unpacking/organizing so I can get out and paint some of this beauty :)

These photos were taken on one of our golf outings here back in 2008.

  1. Been missing your posts but knew you were in the midst of a move - so glad you're finally there but you'll be unpacking for a while, I'm sure. What a lovely scene - I'll wait patiently for new paintings from your new surroundings, though :) Enjoy the newness!

  3. Thanks, Rhonda! I've been missing computer time so I can see how your workshop went and your latest painting! I'm starting to revolt now. My computer is on the dining table so I at least get to take mini breaks from card-boardville :)

  6. Looks like you are bordering a Golf course and a Salt Marsh. Fun to see the Moss in the trees, I have not been down south in so very long, I had forgotten the Moss. Firefly's are out . . .again very early. Do you have Fireflys in SC I wonder?
    Good luck with the unpacking.

  7. Thanks, Lisa! I've seen many new wild flowers but alas, the reference books are still packed! Maybe next week I'll see an end :)

  8. Thanks, Carol! Yes, we are living real close to the golf course and marsh. And, unlike our last neighborhood, we can walk on the golf course after hours. We sooo love that luxury :) As do the dogs!
