Evening Dog Walk Delights

The hounds and I picked the perfect time of evening to walk.... the time of the long shadows.

While I really enjoy our walks together I sure was wishing I could be sitting and trying to capture these scenes on paper!!

I soooo love the glow of the Spartina at this time of day.

Along with the Ibis, an adult Yellow-crowned Night Heron and 2 juvies! They are tough to see - talk about blending with your environment!

This is one of my favorite views of the marsh along #17 fairway.

On the way back home, a Barred Owl flew overhead.

  1. I adore your artwork but you really should share more photos of the doggies :) So glad you're home safe, no longer brain dead and back to painting and creating :)
