Round One, 2013 RBC Heritage Sketches

Thursday had perfect weather for the start of the RBC Heritage.

We arrived just after 9 a.m. and hiked to the 14th green.  There we proceeded to park ourselves for the rest of the day.  A tough job, but someone had to do it!

Unbelievable pollen storms.  The wind would blow and the air was yellow!

  1. I am feeling the result of our spring pollen fest, too! A slight cough all the time and a bit of a sore throat are the main symptoms - but if no suffering meant no spring, I think I'll take a few sneezes and watery eyes. Great sketch - why did you choose the 14th green (not being a golfer, I haven't a clue about where the best sights are along the course)?

  2. Thanks, Rhonda! Hope your pollen allergies don't keep you from painting!

We love the 14th green on this course for it's picturesque qualities (me) and it's an easy walk to the 15th tee box (for Rob). He love watching both areas of play. I become the base station :) I only get up to get food and when nature calls :)
