Earth Day, and My Blog Anniversary Give Away

This Monday, Earth Day, is the fifth anniversary of my blog!  Where did the time go?  I want to thank you all for following my adventures in the lowcountry. To celebrate this milestone, I'm giving away a treasure you are sure to enjoy.

Two years ago, I was contacted by Mary O'Connor.  She told me about a book she was working on entitled Life is Full of Sweet Spots.  The premise was delightful, and I was honored that she wanted to include my thoughts on keeping a nature journal as well as one of my journal images. Mary describes her book as a surprising travel guide that explores the niches and nuances of the earth, the sea and the sky, and our bodies, our minds and our souls.

I know you'll find this book a keeper.  Click here to read more about Life is Full of Sweet Spots.  To learn more about Mary, click here.

Please leave a comment to register for the drawing.  The drawing closes at noon on Monday and the lucky winner will be announced Monday evening.

The book is autographed by both Mary and me.  Good luck and thank you for your continued support!

  1. Congratulations on being included in such an interesting book!!!

  2. P.S. and CONGRATULATIONS on the anniversary of your blog. You have brightened the days for many of us with your gorgeous pages. Thank you for sharing them!

  3. Pam. What a great idea! Count me in and hope my luck holds....i will check out the book just in case. Your paintings make me happy just looking and now that I know you, even better.
    Happy Earth Day to all.

  4. Congratulations, Pam, on 5 years - and here's to 5 more! Count me in the drawing!

  5. I am enjoying reading your posts, looking at all you are doing. I have just read Mary O'Connor's interview, we all need to be aware and find joy wherever we can. Something I read a few days ago inspired a conversation with my husband about what made us feel joy in our lives....being together was at the top of the list but there was so much more. Thankyou for this chance at winning you draw. I know whoever wins will get much pleasure from the book, Mrs A

  6. Thank you, Claire, Cinda, Rhonda and Mrs A for your comments! I wish I had loads of treasures to give away :)

  7. I'm posting for a follower that's not blog savvy and sent a comment to my email :)

I love looking at your website. I just wanted to tell you that the sunflowers are incredible and your new gum tree is so detailed and beautiful. I think they are two of my all time favorites!!

I miss you and hope things calm down a little so I can get back to my water colors.
